Metallurgy need of a large number of electricity is advisable to cover by the modern energy technologies, one of which is the solid fuel gasification. Numerical study of characteristics of pilot one-stage oxygen gasifier "NPO CKTI" under pressure with dry fuel delivery powdered solid fuel is described in the report. Numerical modeling of the units carried out using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method. The geometry of the studied gasifier was simplified to the segment of 45 degrees for reducing of computation time. the research of computational grid was carried out, the optimal grid for further calculations was chosen. Modeling of the process flow gasification was carried out and the results was analyzed. The study showed that the gasification process does not achieve a full equilibrium in this plant. For the complete gasification is needed to do the plant longer or to add a swirling flow.
